A message from Competition Secretary, Lesley Meredith:
​All 13 competitions were closely fought this year and the finals brought the season to a very enjoyable close. It was particularly pleasing to see so many of our new bowlers making a significant mark on the competitions and a few coming through as a winner or a runner up.

The men’s and mixed competitions were well supported with a good number of entries, but looking towards next season, we are hoping that more of our ladies will have the confidence to get involved and enjoy the more competitive aspect of the club.

The rounds ticked along pretty smoothly, but our finals weekend had to be rejigged due to the extreme heat and the fact that the Petersfield Cup final was held on the Sunday - bragging rights here, as Liphook won the trophy! Everything ended up well as we used our reserve weekend to complete the matches.
